Before we go and wait in detour routes we hit up Parowan UT and a little climb up towards Brian Head. Which was nice. #moots #interbike #mootsworld by mootscycles

Stop telling me your religion is compatible with science.
It isn’t.
Virgin births.
Earth 6,000 years old.
Flood covering entire earth.
The creation story.
Teleporting from place to place (Paul)
Food appearing out of nowhere.
You get the point.

Literally every one of those things happened. Yeah but I guess historical occurrences “aren’t compatible with science”.

In Spiritism, everything is compatible with scientific findings.

So that was fun. Lets go over some assumptions and statements that have been made here.

My favorite 2:

1. I a an anti theist. Actually I am not, I am not atheist, I believe in God, I just have a hard time with most organized religion. I think God wants humans to develop selfless (you could even say Christlike) attributes.

2. I have never read a bible. Another assumption and attack of character. As opposed to arguing to any of these things are actually credible ( I did not even mention resurrection) you have attacked me as an “idiot”, someone who hates God, someone who hates Christians, or someone who has never read the Bible (I have read it twice).

Faith is  believing something you cannot know. For example, God cannot be disproved nor proven, so I believe in God. However, when something can be proven or proven false, faith is no longer necessary, because we have fact.

Also apparently virgin did not mean what it does today in the Bible, so that could have happened.

Shoot, I can even throw out the Old Testament, but I still have some scientific and logical problems with the New Testament (resurrection, Paul being transported by the spirit, etc).
